Getting the Film grade right : "Drag Him To TheAltar" Nollywood RomanticComedy

The role of Ade (An over protective father)  brilliantly portrayed by Ferguson Jack, and Gambia's finest Abbie fatty plays his daughter (Diana). The piercing "look" is the first time his daughter introduces him to her boyfriend.
The saturated look is what we intend to use for this scene. This scene hilariously funny because we push the boundries of the  "African Dad" stereotype, but still infuse an amount of seriousness to the scene.

Film Grading - "Drag Him To The Altar" Nollywood Movie

Before Grading

After Grading
In this scene of the shrine, I wanted a departure from the dull desaturated look. The green grass, and the gold statue were selected, and the colour made more vivid, every other element in the video were left untouched.
You will notice the clear difference in picture "After grading"

Compositing: "Drag Him To The Altar" Movie

Scene from "Drag him to the Altar" a Nollywood film
Red, White and black is the colour scheme we are working with in this frame. Subjects placed towards the right of the screen, to create space for the blurred persons in the background. The cast members in this scene look better than Kim Kadesian, as such a shot from behind was essential.

Cinematography: Framing

With Westminster as the backdrop with the lovely fountain strategically framed to the right, the stage is set for this wonderful scene with Ade & Danny.
Remember a good setting makes the script better.

Cinematography Perspective "Drag Him To The Altar"

The shot pictured is my establishment shot. I deliberately placed the subject to the right of the screen. Because of the dark nature of the outfit worn, we gave Ruke O. Amata a yellow tie and Sylvia Ibie red bad and red shoes to pop out colour. The background is essentially blue with reflective white lights in the river. This view and color combination can ONLY be achieved at night.
The location with all these elements was difficult to source, but with a script this good, and a legend in our mist, we had to go for the best.
